Job Opportunities

Summer Internship Opportunity
Former Chris Bell campaign worker (from the 2004 days) and activists Dee Young is the new Director of Houston Votes. She is looking for a couple of good Interns.  If you know anyone who may be interested please contact Jamaal Smith at j.smith@hcdp.org.

Phone Workers Needed
HCDP is getting ready for 2008 when we'll be able to sweep the county for the Democrats, providing we have the hustle and the funds. To do that we are going hi-tech.
The party needs a half dozen people to work two evenings a week, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., for pay, using their home computers and phones. No long distance charges will be involved.  You'll be asking known Democrats to provide their contact information so we can keep them current on the coordinated campaign and to join the Harris County Democratic Party.  The computer will tell you who is calling and display a form to input the results of the call.  We're planning to do this each Monday and Thursday.

If you are interested, email your name, home phone & cell phone number to Sam Keeper, Finance Chair, Harris County Democratic Party, skeeper@houston.rr.com and he will contact you.
